BarleyCourt Spaniels

It is important when choosing a puppy to meet their mum, our mums live in the house and are our family pets. They are available for you to meet when you view the pups, or before if you are going on my waiting list.

KC Registered Working Cocker

Tilly (now retired from breeding) is our KC registered lemon and white Working Cocker. She is a pleasure to have around and is a very wiggly girl. Tilly's grandsire is FTCH Roanlodge Treacle.

 

Tilly has the following health tests:

 

  • DNA tested CLEAR for FN (Familial Nephropathy)

  • DNA tested CLEAR for ​PRA/prcd (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

  • DNA tested CLEAR for AMS (Acral Mutilation Syndrome)

  • KC/BVA/ISDS - Unaffected

  • Gonioscopy (Glaucoma) - Unaffected

  • Hip Scored 5/6

 

All health testing paperwork is available, on request for you to view when visiting.

Tilly is bidable, attentive, very willing to please and is a very hard hunting girl. She's quite a large Cocker, long and leggy.

 

Tilly is DNA Profiled

Dixie (now retired from breeding) is our black and white KC registered working Springer Spaniel.  Dixie is a smaller type Springer, she is very sweet and more reserved than my other Springer Fudge. Dixie is from working parents, her pedigree includes FTCH Roanlodge Scott and FTCH Clarburgh Art.

 

Dixie has the following health tests:

 

  • DNA tested CLEAR for PRA Cord 1 (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

  • Hereditary CLEAR for Fuco (Fucosidosis)

  • DNA tested CLEAR for PFK (Phosphofructokinase deficiency)

  • KC/BVA/ISDS - Unaffetced (2018)

  • Gionioscopy (Glaucoma) - Unaffected

Dixie is a hard hunting girl, she is coming along nicely and is very keen to please.

Fudge (now retired from breeding) is our KC Registered liver & white Working Springer Spaniel. She is an amazingly calm family pet and my most advanced, most keen worker. Fudges sire is FTW Bradwall Billy.

 

Fudge has the following health tests:

 

  • DNA tested CLEAR for PRA Cord 1 (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

  • DNA tested CLEAR for Fuco (Fucosidosis)

  • DNA tested CLEAR for PFK (Phosphofructokinase deficiency)

  • KC/BVA/ISDS - Unaffetced

  • Gionioscopy (Glaucoma) - Unaffected

Fudge is a super worker, very keen and has been very quick to learn. She is a good size for a springer, larger than average and of a very muscular build. Fudge favours picking up, specifically water retrieves but is also happy to hunt and is not phased by any cover.

Toffee (now retired from breeding) (Tilly's daughter) is coming along well, she is smaller than her mother, which is one of the things I had hoped to achieve from the pairing with Jackalantern Hedwig (Vinny) Toffee's sire.

 

Toffee's health testing are currently as follows:

 

  • Hereditary CLEAR for ​PRA/prcd (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)

  • Hereditary CLEAR for FN (Familial Nephropathy)

  • Hereditary CLEAR for AMS (Acral Mutilation Syndrome)
