I offer a mobile micro-chipping service to breeders and owners of individual dogs in Buntingford and surrounding areas.
If you are a dog owner, the law now states that your dog needs to be micro-chipped.
If you are a breeder, even if it is a one off litter, it is now a legal requirement for you to have your puppies micro-chipped before they are sold and they are to all be registered in your own name first as the first 'keeper'. Please see the link below:
Even if you are rehoming a dog/puppy for free, they will still need to be micro-chipped first.
You are also required to keep the micro-chip details up to date, so if you move house or change your telephone number, don't forget to change your chip details.
I am a Peddymark certified implanter and I offer insured, mobile micro-chipping service, meaning that I can micro-chip your pet or puppies in the comfort of your own home, making the procedure much less stressfull for your pet.
I use Petlog micro-chips. Petolg are the UK's largest database for micro-chipped pets, I can use other databases if you have a preference.
Micro-chipping greatly improves the chances of you being reunited with your pet if they go missing.
The chip itself is around the size of a grain of rice, it is an electronic device that holds a unique number which will relate to a record held by the database that will hold your details. Once implated, a chip can be easily and painlessly scanned to find the owners details.
Prices start from:
£10 per puppy (for a litter of pups)
£15 for individual dogs
